Rochester Michigan Senior Photography downtown!

It’s the perfect time of year for Rochester Michigan Senior Photography downtown!  It’s great hanging out with seniors in the summer.  I love getting a jump on these sessions.  Schedules get busy as soon as school is in session and those yearbook photos are due before we know it.  McKenzie, her mom and I enjoyed a gorgeous summer night around her hometown of Rochester.  Their family does a lot around town so it was the perfect place for her senior portraits.  We walked around town then did a loop through the Rochester Municipal Park.  I love getting to know these seniors.  It’s such a cool time in their life.  I love to hear their favorite classes, favorite things outside of school and their plans for the future.  McKenzie wants to study nursing.  She is sweet, smart and dedicated and I know she is going to be an awesome nurse!  I wish her an awesome senior year, filled with a lot of great times and long-lasting memories!

As I said on Facebook, if you know McKenzie you know there has to be a river and a hammock in her senior photo session.  Being a kayaker she is right at home in the river.

Lastly, we visited a hidden gem, not far from the park.  McKenzie’s family has had a plot at the community garden for a few years so her mom know just where to go for the colorful finale to our session.  I love this cheerful fence and we happened to be there right at sunflower season.  This sunflower came from the family garden plot.
