Oxford High School Senior Portraits

I swear I’m the luckiest senior photographer!  Have I said that before?  The seniors that I photograph are just fantastic!  I love getting to know them and am very thankful they chose me to capture them.  I had one mom email this week and said they loved the images of their senior and how they were elated that I captured their child’s true essence.  That is my goal each and every session.  I was so excited for this Oxford High School Senior Portraits session since we first started discussing the plan.  Emily wanted sunflowers so we went to Blake’s in Armada.

For the rest of Emily’s Oxford High School Senior Portraits session we met up at the farm where she lives.  Farm Senior Portraits are perfect when you live on a beautiful farm.  What a wonderland that place is!  It was straight out of book with split rail fences, farm house, barn, silos, out buildings including an original outhouse, rolling fields, farm equipment,…  I immediately fell in love with this beautiful farm.  It makes me so happy that Emily and her family have these images of their beautiful daughter in a place so close to their heart.  The farm and Emily may change but they have these images forever.  Emily is quick to smile and has such a beautiful heart!  It was so great meeting you Emily.  Love your infectious smile and fun-loving spirit!

We started Emily’s session at a beautiful meadow near her home.  She just glows in this beautiful setting.

This Metamora farm is a dream come true.  I would love to photograph here in every season.  I bet this farm is truly magical with snow.  I can’t help but picture it with large puffy snowflakes gently falling.  This

When you live on a beautiful country road you just have to be photographed there too!  The lighting wasn’t right earlier but as the sun got lower I brought out my off camera flash lighting.  This allows you to control the ambient light of the background and add just the right amount and quality of light to your subject.  For all the times Emily and her family have been up and down this road, here it is at it’s finest, as a beautiful backdrop for Emily’s senior portraits.

And for the grand finale, photo proof that we had fun until the cows came home!  Yes, your session comes with free corny jokes.  I can’t help but make corny jokes but it also is a great way for seniors to feel at ease.

I loved sharing Emily’s session.  It was so much fun being with her at this fabulous farm!
