Teen Portrait Session
One of the highlights of Spring Break was this teen portrait session; destination Charleston. I loved everything about Charleston! I’ll be doing some more posts about that trip with both nature and historical charm and of course flowers, as well as a dance portrait session. My daughter is a big history buff and loved Charleston too. You can’t deny that the city has a ton of charm as well. The window boxes alone were fantastic and that they graced charming buildings was just a bonus.
Shopping for Teens
I love to share shopping tips. We found this outfit at Francesca’s. It’s like a boutique but it’s a chain store. Each one is unique though and they only buy one or a few of each piece of clothing so you won’t see ten (or more) people in the same outfit. The jacket was purchased in Michigan during a buy one get one at 50% off sale, which is common. The dress we found in Charleston on King Street.
Customized Teen Photo Sessions
I love teen portrait sessions! They are both a glimpse of the past and future! It’s a great time for portraits, spaced out a couple years before senior portrait time – gasp! Charleston has beautiful backdrops galore! I think it’s time to plan a destination photo shoot there! Who’s in?? Seriously, flights are not too high and it would be a blast!
Don’t let these times as a young teen slip by. Show them how special they are with a customized portrait session. Schedule a trim or a blow-out or style for the same day and really make an event out of it!

Being a realtor you want to employ every thing you can to get your listings noticed! This not only creates happy clients and less days on the market, it appeals to future clients as well, that you are going to do everything you can to market and sell their property. In addition to professional images of the interior and exterior we can provide you with other offerings such as real estate twilight photography, drone photography with FAA certified drone pilots, and marketing materials including slideshows and video. For additional impact and wow factor we do sky replacements on key exterior images so that the blue sky/sunny day sky makes the home look even more inviting and stand out among the crowd of other listings.
I look forward to talking to you about your real estate photography needs and how I can help you wow your clients and gain more new clients. Please check out our gallery of real estate photography!
This Rochester Park Senior Portraits! Well, technically we started at the Library since Alyssa is an avid book reader. Alyssa attends the International Academy for High School. It’s a very tough school but also provides great opportunities like travel. She is such a smart an ambitious girl. It was so great to see the way she lit up when talking about books and shared with me the prologue of her current favorite. I could quickly see why the book enthralls her. She has started writing her first novel. I look forward to getting an autographed copy some day not too far off. I’m sure she works hard there! She is also into acting and has performed a few different places in town. This summer Alyssa checked out a few colleges and is already hard at work back at school. I hope she has a fantastic Senior year!
During her session I learned a bit about Dr Who and Harry Potter. At least I had a clue about Harry Potter already. I love how Alyssa came so prepared with props and attire to accent her interests and personality. I learned a few things and we had some good laughs along the way too! Don’t you just love all the water and trails around Rochester?!?
Next, we stopped at the Rochester Municipal Park for a Harry Potter style book break!
Lastly, we stopped by the band shell where Alyssa has been in a few performances.
What is your favorite image(s) from Alyssa’s session? I really love how she made this Rochester Park Senior Portrait session shine with her own style! I look forward to helping Alyssa’s family preserve these images with some great portrait prints and products. Let’s talk about how we can make your senior portrait session unique and show off your personality!
Isn’t she just the cutest?!? She has a sweet personality to go with those good looks! Little Mia returned to the studio for her birthday photo session complete with cake smash! I love seeing how she had grown since her newborn session. If you want to see how beautiful she has been since day one check out her newborn photo session. This time Mia showed off her birthday dress and shared some smiles then it was cake time! I love the expressions when little ones explore their cake. Mia was quite into her frosting for awhile! Check out the grin she flashed her parents! Sweetness from head to toes!
Little Miss Mia in her birthday dress!
Pretty in Pink, from checks to dress to icing!
Play Ball! This month in the Life by Lens Project I’m sharing some images of my son and his love for baseball. He looks so old in his uniform this year. No more little boy, sniff sniff! This year he played Juniors in Little League so they now have names on their jerseys. We’re in the big time now. Ok, not really! Spring season is over for us. I wonder what’s next… He dreams of being on the high school team next year but I know the competition is strong so we’ll see. I’m glad I’ll have these baseball photos to remember this time before he gets even older on me!
Play Ball! Baseball time in Michigan!
All things baseball!
Please go check out Joanna Robbin’s Photography and her Life by Lens post for the month! I’ll be back next month, hopefully with great images from some fun in northern Michigan. Happy Summer!
