Northern Michigan Maternity session

Maternity Photo Session in Northern Michigan, sigh!  What’s better than a summer night in northern Michigan?  Not much!  But when you are cruising northern Michigan with a great couple for their maternity portrait session I think that takes the cake!  We started out on the shores of Crystal Lake, where this happy couple just so happened to get married.  We had better weather for the maternity session than we had for the wedding and we were thankful for that.  Of course, back on the wedding day it did stop raining for the beachfront wedding ceremony.  After Crystal Lake we found a pleasant spot along the Platte River.  They got a lot of attention from some nearby people on canoes, who yelled out their congratulations.  Before the night ended we went to Point Betsie to enjoy the sunset with plenty of others.  We found some quiet spots and really enjoyed our time.  This summer there is one good thing that comes with summer ending and that means this couple is getting really close to meeting their first child.  Bring on the newborn photo session!

And now for that glorious Lake Michigan sunset that we all enjoyed.  You can’t have too many beautiful sunsets in your life.
